THE BIG MAHALO – CANNED FOOD DRIVE

We’re giving thanks, to you our community, for all your love and support over the past 4 years & we’re raising for Hawaii Food Bank with your canned donations. Cover is only $10 with 3 canned goods (per person) at the door, or $20 without.

Mahalo for helping feed our keiki, kūpuna, families and neighbors in need.

RESIDENTS ON ROTATION ALL NIGHT LONG

 

HAWAII FOOD BANK 

Preferred Donations:

  • Canned proteins (e.g., tuna, chicken)

  • Prepared canned meals (e.g., soup, stew, chili, pasta)

  • Canned fruit

  • Canned vegetables

  • Bags of rice (5-10 lb preferred)

 

Accepted Prepackaged Foods-Non-Perishable (Canned Goods)

Condition

• Fully intact original cans with labels that are legible and must show as a minimum: a) what the product is b) ingredients c) net weight d) manufacture

• Slightly dented canned goods

Handling and Storage 

• Cool, dry clean area

Non-Acceptable Conditions

• Opened, punctured, bulging or serious can damage, including evidence of leakage

• Soiled label
