BIO:

KANYKEI is a Miami based DJ and producer whose sound has taken her across the world, from New York to Honolulu, from Mexico to Italy, Amsterdam, Portugal, and beyond. Born in Central Asia and growing up in the west, her sound carries a perfect fusion of both worlds, the type of music that makes everyone feel like they’re exactly where they’re supposed to be.
With releases on Berlin’s renowned Katermukke, Talk Talk, and Italian label Buttress Records, KANYKEI has established herself as a genuine force in the international electronic music scene. She has performed across America, Europe, and Asia, appearing on international stages and major festival environments, sharing lineups with Nicole Moudaber, John Summit, Âme, LP Giobbi, Chloe Caillet, Green Velvet, Luke Alessi, Kevin De Vries, and many more.
Before planting roots in Miami, KANYKEI ran her own event series across New York City called AIONIA Music, bringing electronic experiences to some of the city’s most iconic spaces, 1 Hotel Rooftop, House of Yes, Elsewhere, Superior Ingredients and beyond. That curatorial instinct, knowing not just how to play a room, but how to build one, remains at the core of everything she does.
