BIO:
Treavor Moontribe is a pioneering American DJ, producer and event curator whose influence has helped shape the underground electronic scene in the United States. Emerging from Southern California’s early rave culture, he co‑founded the Moontribe Collective, a group known for its full‑moon desert gatherings that have been at the heart of the region’s underground scene since 1993. Moontribe’s eclectic DJ sets fluidly move between psychedelic trance, progressive house and downtempo, and his fearless approach to mixing helped establish him as one of Los Angeles’ leading DJs.
Alongside his solo work, Treavor is half of the acclaimed duo Desert Dwellers, whose globally acclaimed soundscapes blend world‑beat and electronic influences. Over the years he has released music under multiple project names and toured extensively from Brazil and Morocco to Japan and across North America. Moontribe is also a label head, having co‑founded the Desert Trax imprint and later launching his own Dreaming Awake and Alien Breakdance labels. Through his decades‑long commitment to community, sonic exploration and transformational dance‑floor experiences, Treavor Moontribe remains a visionary architect of American electronic‑music culture.
