MYXZLPLIX BIO:

Constantly evolving and shifting as one of San Diego’s actively progressing techno and house DJs & Producers, Myxzlplix has been at the heart of the So Cal Techno and House landscape for over three decades. Never content to stand still in a world of constantly changing influences, he has been determined to deliver music that is fresh, ground breaking and aimed at today’s growing audiences.

Experience is priceless in the DJ game, but applying that knowledge to a dance floor without resting on the laurels of days gone by is essential. Combined with all his work in broadcasting, journalism and as founder Techniche, a multi-faceted media company reaching into the performance, recording, merchandising and broadcasting space, there is no doubt that Myxzlplix is leading the charge to new horizons in a way previously unimagined.

Standing at the helm of such a successful independent company has been a journey that has taken many twists and turns, but it has always been his creative desire that has inspired him to take on new challenges. Initially working in the outlaw rave scene as part of the San Diego underground, he soon realized that he needed to evolve as a DJ if he wanted to become a cutting-edge artist who could inspire crowds to get up and dance. As his reputation grew, the clubs came calling, including San Diego’s LGBTQ venues where he has held court as resident DJ for over 2 decades often performing under the alias “Moody Rudy”, spinning different genres including Hip-Hop, Latin and more.

His relentless spirit soon propelled him forward into producing and remixing for both independent and major labels and artists. As a curator and broadcaster, he has shaped the tastes for Billboard Magazine, Giant Step and the internationally syndicated Global Subdivisions Radio Show. Always intent on showcasing the talents of new and emerging artists, it would not be long before he then became determined to transform all that acquired knowledge into his own unique sound and style.

That transformation led to genesis of Techniche, a Techno based outfit that hosts events, a syndicated radio show, and record label. Techniche brings more of his exciting brand of techno to the global stage. As a insightful and thorough label boss, Myxzlplix is the name that brings maintains integrity with humble legacy to the game. DJ K-SWIFT BIO:

Make way for the juggernaut a.k.a. DJ K-Swift, a formidable and highly skilled jock whose sense for impactful sound is only eclipsed by his energy and natural mixing ability that was inspired by and forged during the golden age of hip hop. It was this early sonic landscape where he reigned as a master of the “boom-bap” only to transform and customize it as his own attention grabbing form of “four-to-the-floor.” A DJ boasting vast experience, K-Swift is a DJ who doesn’t come from a “traditional” House Music or Techno background which he embraces with humility, and which uniquely enables him to approach and execute his sets with an open mind and a willingness to prove himself to the “underground faithful.”

His drive, and dedication to DJ craft and club culture makes him a worthy ally and asset to any scene or floor-space he occupies. Frequently booked as a resident DJ at Techniche, K-Swift proved time and time again he could hold court captivating crowd after crowd with a barrage of “swift” Tech-House and bold Techno that distinguished him from other DJs. So in 2019, K-Swift was officially welcomed into the Techniche fold as a key member of our formidable talent roster that’s proved value and provided valiance to our continued journey.

This will be K-Swift + MYXZLPLIX debut Centered performance.
