BIO:

Speaker Honey, the techno and electro project of San Diego-based producer Kirsty “Kiki” Parker, made her label debut on deadmau5’s mau5trap with the single “Shoyu” on the label’s 2019 compilation series, We Are Friends, Vol. 9, after a multi-year courtship with the label that began when she met label manager Mario at a Miami Music Week showcase. Her debut EP, Night Visions, followed in 2020, and she has since released additional music with mau5trap, including the EP Animate Life, plus an outside release, the I Can Do It EP on Andreas Henneberg’s label SNOE.

On the touring side, Speaker Honey built her live profile as direct support for labelmate No Mana’s “Secret Something” tour, introducing her sets to audiences across North America, and has shared bills with mau5trap artist i_o. She has also performed at Green Velvet’s La La Land and CRSSD, and played the afterparty for deadmau5’s Cube V3 tour in New York. Her catalog includes a 2023 collaborative release, “Dance In Time,” with producer Burko on mau5trap, and a remix credit on deadmau5’s track “FALL.”

Before electronic music, Parker trained in violin, piano, guitar, and other instruments before moving into synthesizers and Ableton — a foundation she cites as central to her production approach. Her sound sits between electro and techno, and mau5trap remains her primary creative home and release outlet.
